Vivara Realty is a real estate agency in Nairobi, Kenya, located at First Floor, 23 Olengurone Road, Lavington. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Information We Collect
When you submit a form, we collect the details you enter, such as your phone number and, on some forms, your name, email address, budget and preferred location. We also record the page you enquired from, the time of your enquiry and, if you arrived through a Google ad, the ad click identifier. If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we receive your number and your messages. When you browse our website, cookies and similar technologies collect information about your device and how you use the site.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about the property you asked about and similar properties, to measure how well our website and advertising work, and to meet our legal obligations.
Service Providers
We share information only where needed to run our services or where the law requires it. Our providers include Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics), Meta (Meta Pixel and WhatsApp), our email delivery provider and our customer relationship management (CRM) system. When you submit a landing page form, your phone number is sent to Google in a protected form so that we can measure the performance of our ads. Some providers may process information outside Kenya.
Cookies and Advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising, including to measure visits and enquiries that come from our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage personalised Google ads in your Google account settings.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, and then delete or anonymise it.
Your Rights
Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to access your data, to object to its processing, including for direct marketing, and to ask us to correct or delete it.
